Postbank with new contactless functionality on ATMs and self-service devices in digital express banking areas

ATMs and self-service devices in the digital express banking areas of Postbank can now be found in Sofia Ring Mall, level 1. They provide a new contactless functionality that allows payment and non-payment transactions by bringing the card closer to the contactless reader of the respective device. With the introduction of the new generation service, the financial institution further facilitates its customers with contactless cards to quickly and conveniently perform banking transactions without visiting a bank branch.
Postbank's customers are also provided with the opportunity to perform transactions contactlessly, applicable through the self-service devices in the digital express banking areas, which allow almost all transactions without having to visit a bank office. Some of the possible services include ordering outgoing transfers in BGN between own and foreign accounts, regardless of which Bulgarian bank they are in, repayment of debts on own or foreign credit card from Postbank, possibility to apply for credit products offered by the bank. Both individuals and corporate customers of the bank registered for the "self-service area" service can deposit or withdraw money contactlessly not only from and to their cards, but also from their own accounts with the bank, after additional identification, when the devices are specifically marked as having this technical capability. Making inquiries and statements on accounts, cards and credits at Postbank, including printing* some of them, is also possible to be done contactlessly via the respective devices.
The new generation ATMs, as well as the self-service devices in the digital zones, can perform basic transactions with all contactless cards, regardless of the issuing bank. For customers of other banks, only some of the functionality of the devices is valid, including cash withdrawals and payment of household bills from a card.

The new contactless functionality will gradually be offered at ATMs and self-service devices in more and more locations, with Postbank planning to expand the network and replace existing ATMs in offices across the country.
