LUNAR Festival of Lights in Sofia Ring Mall: 11 - 14 May

5 May, 2023

We are happy to announce that Sofia Ring Mall is joining the program of this year's edition of the LUNAR Festival of Lights. The mall will be transformed into a gallery of light art for 4 nights, where you can see 3 works - two outside and one inside. Here is some more information about them:

"Positive vibrations" - static 3D mapping projection ➡ of the facade on the side of the Amphitheatre

Author.

Photographer and artist Heinz Kuzdas captured the largest collection of graffiti on the Berlin Wall before its fall in 1989. By leaving his mark on its concrete, with his timeless female images and galaxies, the artist succeeded in conveying his humanist messages. Today, the work allows the audience to immerse themselves in the vast and imagine an existence beyond the limits of the ordinary.

Rocking the Space - static 3D mapping projection ➡ on the site of the Amphitheatre

What is it like to be on a mission in space? It's time to find out. Enter its colorful infinity on the playground at the Amphitheater.

SubAtom - light installation ➡ level 1, next to Lynne shop

Author: MP-Studio

The atom is at the center of this light installation, creating a dynamic swirl of images. Its particles move and form new and new shapes, each revealing new worlds to the audience.

We are waiting for you from 11 to 14 May. Choose your night and arrive between 21:00 and 00:00.

An indoor light installation is available throughout the day in Sofia Ring Mall.

Just a reminder that you can get to us easily and for free with our bus service, and we've extended the bus schedule by one more run especially for the festival. So the last bus from Sofia Ring Mall leaves at 23:15. The lights are waiting for you!
