Measuring blood is only for old people. Yes, but no!
The first screening of young people, which we conducted within the framework of the campaign "120/80. Choose Your Heart Number" campaign, in late 2024 with over 600 participants, showed that one in seven young people aged 15 to 29 has high blood pressure.

On March 22 from 11:00 to 16:00 we will measure blood in seven malls - Ring Mall, Serdika Center, Mall of Sofia, Bulgaria Mall, Paradise, The Mall, Park Center.
By taking part in the screening you will find out not only what your blood pressure currently is, but also what you can do to improve it through physical activity, diet, etc.
Measurement will be conducted with clinically validated Microlife B3 Afib blood pressure devices.
Participants in the study will also receive a free weekly Next Level card, and high scorers with a blood count of 120/80 will receive a special gift from Microlife.

Why is it important to monitor blood pressure?
Blood pressure is a key indicator of cardiovascular health.
High or excessively low blood pressure can signal potential health problems.
By regularly monitoring your blood pressure, you can prevent serious conditions such as heart attack or stroke.
You can now measure your blood pressure for free in specially created areas in the Sofia metro - Sofia University, Serdika and NDK metro stations, as well as in Central Halls - Kaufland, level -1.

International recognition for the campaign
The results of the screening we conducted, part of the "120/80. Choose your heart number!", attracted the attention of the international cardiology community.
The face of our campaign, the cardiologist and angiologist - Assoc. Svetlin Tsonev will present at the European Congress on Hypertension in Milan in May 2025 the initial analysis of the data from the study conducted in 2024 and the importance of early monitoring for blood pressure.
